Vipassana Earth Care week begins October 2nd.

- 9:25 – 10:45 AM — at the regular Sunday morning meditation and talk
- 10:45 – 11:30 AM — at the Community Tea following the meditation and talk
Earth care week was launched in 2013 by teachers gathered at the International Vipassana Teachers meeting at Spirit Rock. In proposing the annual observance, the teachers were responding to a request for teachings on Climate Change signed by more than 2000 practitioners. IMC has honored this event for most of the last 10 years.
The Earth Care Group at IMC, which has been meeting regularly on Zoom since April 2022, will be sharing resources, ideas and action suggestions at the Community Tea.
