In-person at IMC and on Zoom. Register online to get the Zoom link.
Co-sponsored by the Sati Center and the San Francisco Bay Parisā — an assembly of people dedicated to practicing in line with Ven. Thanissaro Bhikkhu’s teachings
Stream-entry — also known as the arising of the Dhamma eye — is a momentous occasion in the practice. The first glimpse of the deathless, it makes irrevocable changes in the person who experiences it. Once you have this experience, you have no more doubts about the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha, and are sure to reach unbinding in no more than seven lifetimes.
This daylong — through talks, meditations, readings, and discussions — will cover the steps the Buddha recommends for reaching stream-entry, the Canon’s descriptions of what is seen in stream-entry, and the long-term results of the experience.
For those attending in person:
You are encouraged to bring a lunch so that you can eat at IMC. There will also be an opportunity to donate food for the meal offering to Ajahn Geoff.
